How does this design hold up when you actually use the street?

Walk the Esplanade with the concept drawings and mark the spots that work and the spots that do not. What you find is read before the concept is locked in.

The drawings are done and detailed design has not started. That gap is the only window where a change is cheap, and it closes in November.

What Kellerton Shire Council has already decided

  • That the seawall works go ahead. They are funded separately.
  • That the street stays two-way. The traffic assessment ruled out one-way.
  • The 18-metre width. The land either side is private.
